Robots & AI are becoming more powerful by the day - but what about Humans?
Technological augmentation of human ability requires unparalleled communication between man & machine.
However, for true communication between humans, text is not enough.
Neither is it between humans and superintelligent machines.
Speech, sight, hearing, movement, touch, thought, and emotion — PsyTech fuses the full bandwidth of human expression into a man-machine link which directly turns human intent into machine action.
To succeed, PsyTech must command:
1) mindshare /psy
2) technology /tech
3) culture /art
4) revenue /inc.
Music, as the beachhead wedge, makes all four possible.
1. Mindshare
When headliners at the biggest festivals use PsyTech, the company gains immediate, massive, international mindshare.
2. Technology
PsyTech's beachhead product, VoidWave, makes it possible to play electronic music live, the way a soloist can play a piano concerto.

The Technosuit is a great toy but a bad product; we therefore pivoted to VoidWave as beachhead, which is a separate, distinct product. As a desktop and mobile app, VoidWave can be played standalone, or with an optional, companion neural hardware upgrade.
3. Culture
Artists rule culture. Artists are notoriously distrustful of Big Tech, which uses AI to replace their work.
In the age where machines increasingly replace humans, PsyTech builds the technology which keeps humanity at the bleeding edge of technological agency and creative ability. Starting with music, PsyTech aligns with culture, rather than threatening it.
4. Revenue
Gaming, Robotics, VR are strongly competitive. Conversely, next to no-one innovates at the technological cutting edge in the music industry. Instead of fighting incumbents for scraps, it is better to dominate a smaller market completely - then expand.
See Products for the business model.
Founding Philosophy
All technology can either be used to augment, or to replace.
Replacing humans is easy.
You merely look at what humans already do, and use AI to make it:
1. faster
2. cheaper
Augmenting humans is hard.
It requires building intelligent machines which:
1. continually learn at runtime
2. co-create in real-time
3. become one with the human
AI is fascinating technology. I merely think that using it to replace humans is the most boring possible application of its incredible potential. Conversely -
Online learning is unsolved.
Co-creation across domains is unsolved.
Man-machine symbiosis is unsolved.
These are fantastically difficult technological challenges.
I choose to build PsyTech because I believe in humanity.
And because I love AI.
